Adopt-A-Road
                                  What is Adopt-A-Road?
The re-establishment of an Adopt-A-Road program will help to
promote public involvement in reducing litter by allowing the
community to assume responsibility for sections of the public
        right-of-way.
To learn more about an Adopt-A-Road program,

Litter along our roads has reached an epidemic stage.
News Center
Litter clean-up has become a time-consuming and expensive operation for our
governments (your tax dollars). Keep South Fulton Beautiful promotes all
        Adopt -A- Road programs.

                                                      Who can adopt?
Any civic-minded organization or individual can adopt a stretch of roadway. Unless
strongly supervised, please do not let any young children work on the roadsides.

                                        What do I do?
Select a stretch of roadway for your group to adopt - you may also
sponsor other groups or fund litter clean-ups.
Recruit and organize volunteers, and provide safety information.
Provide supervision for volunteers 17 years of age and younger.
Commit to clean up your road at least once per quarter, more often if
                needed.
Place collected litter in tied bags for collection.

                                What will Adopt-A-Road do?
Provide trash bags, safety vests, and gloves.
             Offer safety orientation.
Post personalized sign on your adopted road.
